In anticipation of its upcoming premiere, the K-Drama adaptation of the BL manhwa Unintentional Love Story has released its first trailer.
TVING, the broadcasting station who will air Unintentional Love Story, has given fans a sneak peek of the two couples who will make their debut in the drama. In the trailer, potter Yoon Taejun (Cha Seowon) looks away from the vase he’s holding while Ji Wonyoung (B1A4’s Gongchan) peeks out with a bright smile from behind the clay piece he’s holding. The trailer also introduces two new characters, Go Hotae (Won Taemin), a young college student who harbours a crush on cool coffee shop owner Kim Donghee (Han Dowoo). Helmed by Jang Euisoon as director and Shin Ji-ahn as screenwriter, Unintentional Love Story will make history as TVING’s first BL series.
Based on PIBI’s BL manhwa, Unintentional Love Story follows Ji Wonyoung who must find some way to get back into his company after he gets unfairly fired. The only way to do that might be to find his company chairman’s favourite potter, the notoriously private Yoon Taejun. Wonyoung initially wanted to get close to Taejun so he could get his job back but never did he expect to fall in love with him.
Unintentional Love Story premieres on TVING and iQiyi on March 17. The manhwa is available to read on Lezhin Comics.
