Thousand Autumns: Qian Qiu Volume 1 is available for pre-order for publisher Seven Seas Entertainment. This is the first time the popular wu xia danmei novels became officially available in English. Volume 1 has an expected release window of March 2023, when it will become available in both print and digital formats.
Thousand Autumns: Qian Qiu tells the story of Yan Wushi, the leader of a demonic sect with a cynical personality. Yan Wushi’s cynical character leads him to believe that human nature is not naturally good, nor is anyone truly righteous in the world. After seeing the Daoist leader Shen Qiao fall from the steep cliffs of Xuandu Mountains, Yan Wushi begins to plot to lure Shen Qiao toward him and away from the path of righteousness. After a thousand autumns, will Yan Wushi’s plan finally come to fruition?
Thousand Autumns: Qian Qiu also has a donghua adaptation titled Thousand Autumns, based on the original wuxia novel. Studio Magic produced the series, which ran from Feb. 8, 2021, to May 24, 2021. Thousand Autumns is available to watch on bilibili.
