With her gothic fashion, jet-black hair, and intense stare, Chihara is said to be a “landmine” girl or jirai-kei, the hyper-feminine, dark aesthetic often associated with yandere tendencies and unstable personalities. But when Kuroki accidentally draws Chihara’s attention, he discovers she isn’t nearly as unstable as people claim. Beneath the intimidating aura is a surprisingly sweet girl… if a little weird.

Hesitantly, Kuroki begins to learn more about Chihara and her strange quirks. Is there more to her than her volatile reputation? Or is all the dark clothing just a red flag in disguise?

Are You a Landmine, Chihara-san? Vol. 1 releases in September 2026 and is priced at $14.99 USD / $18.99 CAD.

Little Mushroom (Deluxe Hardcover Edition)

Yi Shi Si Zhou

In the year 2020, humanity was nearly wiped out by cosmic radiation. Over the next one hundred years, living creatures began to change and mutate while the remaining humans struggled to survive in man-made bases.

Down in the Abyss, a home to mutated xenogenics, there lived a sentient mushroom. Nourished by the flesh and blood of the deceased An Ze, the mushroom took on the form of its host and even adopted a similar name: An Zhe. Seeking his missing spore, harvested by humans, An Zhe is determined to make it to the human base to retrieve what’s his. But the closer he gets to the base, the higher his risk of death increases.

Unfortunately for An Zhe, there are those who prowl the streets seeking xenogenics like himself—known as Judges, they inspect and eliminate non-humans without a second thought, sparing no one. And when An Zhe finds himself under the scrutiny of Colonel Lu Feng—the most perceptive and merciless of the Judges—he somehow goes undetected but not unsuspected. Lu Feng knows there’s something off about An Zhe, and he’s not letting him out of his sight until he figures it out.

Can An Zhe get back his spore without revealing his mutation to Lu Feng, or will everything unravel?

This is the first danmei title that Seven Seas has gone for a hardcover edition rather than a paperback edition. The publisher has released hardcover editions before but it was after a paperback print run, coming several months after the entire series was released. The first hardcover editions were done for the Mo Xiang Tong Xiu trio. Seven Seas has clarified that the hardcover edition will replace the paperback and special edition. Releasing on August 4, Little Mushroom is priced at $26.99 USD.
