Who’s ready to hear Sangwoo and Jaeyoung come to life?
Ize Press has announced the audiobook version of the Semantic Error novel with Yung-I Chang narrating. Chang has dabbled in BL roles as the voices for Haruki in Given, Tashiro in Sasaki and Miyano, as well as Shu in Horimiya. The audiobook will release at the same time as the print version on January 20. Listeners can purchase it on Apple Books, Barnes and Noble, Audible, Libro, Book Walker Global, and Google Play.

Chang has also voiced Rafal in Fire Emblem Engage, Hakugan in One Piece, and Cupid in The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish.
Ize Press first licensed the manhwa adaptation of J. Soori’s original novel and currently has four volumes out. Two years later, the imprint announced the license for the novel. Publang holds the digital license for the book. The novel and manhwa have inspired an animation adaptation, audio drama, and live-action adaptation that premiered in February 2022 and shot up to become Watcha’s top-watched title for a period of time.
The novel follows Choo Sangwoo, a computer science major who is dead set on a specific routine, who finds his whole life upended when he decides to take off all the names of the slackers off his group project. One of the slackers, Jang Jaeyoung, a visual arts major who was just one class away from graduating, isn’t going to let this go. Using the fact that Sangwoo needs Jaeyoung’s help to realize his video game dreams, he takes every opportunity to annoy his junior including wearing his least favorite color. Sangwoo can only wonder if he can ever get rid of this error in his life?
The first volume of the novel comes out on January 20.
