Around three months after Studio Arche gave an update on Return of the Blossoming Blade, the studio has announced the date for Season 3.
Studio Arche, the newly formed subsidiary for the original novel’s publisher Luff Media, dropped a new visual in celebration of the Season 3 announcement with all of the characters looking hilariously baffled that they’ll have to return to work soon. Season 3 premieres on April 14.
Return of the Blossoming Blade was originally localized by a team from Studio LICO but due to labour protests against the parent company Naver, it has been on hiatus for almost three years. In January, it was revealed that the production team from the first two seasons would work on the third season under Studio Arche.
Biga wrote the webnovel back in April 2019 on Naver Webtoon where it currently is ongoing with more than 1,900 chapters. A manhwa adaptation with Studio LICO working on the artwork and writing was released on the Korean webtoon platform in March 2021 then three months later on the English webtoon platform. The manhwa won the Presidential Award in the cartoon category at the Korea Contents Awards in 2022.

Return of the Blossoming Blade is available in English on WEBTOON with the webnovel published on Webnovel under Return of the Mount Hua Sect. A date for the English translation has not yet been announced.
