More than two decades after Mobile Suit Gundam SEED first premiered in 2002, the series is getting the song collection it deserves.
A new compilation album, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Series Song Collection SEED Songs, is set for release on January 16, 2027. The album brings together the music that defined the series—and introduces a few surprises along the way.
The collection features 15 tracks in total, spanning theme songs, insert songs, and one brand-new song. Among the highlights are two tracks making their first-ever appearance on a Gundam SEED-related album:
- “Sarigiwa no Romantics” by See-Saw
- “Distance” by FictionJunction
For longtime fans, these additions are a significant treat—both songs have long been associated with the series but have never been included on a SEED compilation until now.
First-press editions of the album come in a limited-edition premium case featuring a brand-new illustration, making it a must-have for collectors.
