Link Click Confirms Season 3 After Nail-Biting S2 Finale

The intense finale of the second season of Link Click has left fans with numerous questions which will hopefully be answered in Season 3.

After that doozy of a Season 2 finale, Link Click fans need not worry about whether they will get their answers! The donghua has promised to “see you next time” in Season 3.

Following the finale of Season 2, director Li Haoling has confirmed there will be a Season 3 with a new sketch of Lu Guang. His eyebrows are slightly furrowed and he appears distressed. The official social media account for the donghua also dropped a new illustration, thanking fans for the support for Season 2. The illustration features all of the characters including the newly introduced Liu Xiao, the mysterious character who wore a wide-brimmed hat to hide his face.

Link Click burst onto the scene in April 2021 and surprised everyone with its unique plot and engaging and heartbreaking storytelling. Written and directed by Li Haoling and produced by LAN Studio and Holiness Animation League, Link Click follows a trio of friends who have started up a photography studio called Time Photo Studio. Qiao Ling acts as the client coordinator and landlady while Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang “dive” into photos to help relieve their clients of their regrets. The first season took on a slice-of-life format and focused on different cases while Season 2, which premiered in July 2023, took on a decidedly different direction.

Link Click inspired a manhua adaptation with a completely new story. The manhua released on Sept. 22. A live-action adaptation has been announced with a projected premiere date for 2024. Jiang Long will portray Cheng Xiaoshi, Bi Wenjun as Lu Guang and Bu Guanjin as Qiao Ling.

Both seasons of Link Click are available to watch on Crunchyroll.
