Link Click Unveils Live-Action Cast Through Mysterious Teaser Video

The live-action adaptation of Link Click will reportedly premiere in 2024, starring Jiang Long, Bi Wenjun and Bu Guanjin as the lovable trio.

Link Click fans can dive into the live-action adaptation with this cryptic teaser video.

As per cdrama tweets’ post, Bilibili released a teaser video for the upcoming live-action series. The camera sweeps past the long strands of film strip and into the depths of the darkroom. There are glimpses of the various photographs pinned to the wall and scattered on the table before settling on a photo of the main trio played by Jiang Long, Bi Wenjun and Bu Guanjin. According to Yu Alexius, the series will consist of 24 episodes, 25 minutes each, and air sometime in 2024.

Jiang Long will play impulsive Cheng Xiaoshi. Jiang previously acted in the 2019 live-action adaptation of The King’s Avatar and has also acted in The Brightest Star in the Sky. In 2023, he starred in Tiger Crane and Justice in the Dark. He is set to star in various other works such as A Soldier’s Story, The Future Handbook and Hua Guo Lu Shen.

Bi Wenjun originally broke into the idol industry as part of the group NEXT. His acting career began when he debuted in the lead role for the 2019 series Sweet Tai Chi. He has also appeared as the lead in In a Class of Her Own, Ni Chang and Sweet Tooth. Aside from Link Click where he’ll star as Lu Guang, he is set to star in Dreamcatcher and Treasures Around.

Bu Guanjin portrays the feisty Qiao Ling. The actor made her debut in the lead of the 2018 series Suddenly This Summer. Since then, she has acted in numerous series including Twenty Your Life On, To Be With You, Dear Diary and The Happy Seven in Changan. Bu will also appear in Rebel and Pretty Girls later in the year.

The original donghua, animated by Studio Lan, aired for 11 episodes in April 2021 and received positive reception. Revolving around a mysterious photo studio, Link Click follows Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang who possess supernatural powers that allow them to go back in time through photos with a simple high-five. Season 2 launches on July 14.
