San Lang has to match with his gege; it’s not a want, it’s a need.

Inklore, the imprint for manhwa, manhua, and webcomics for Penguin Random House, dropped the cover for Vol. 4 of the hit danmei manhua Heaven Official’s Blessing. Designed by STARember, the cover features San Lang wearing less red than normal as he opts to wear the attire of the Banyue people. He holds a white flower in one hand, admiring the petals.

The English print version will also feature an exclusive doodle from the artist STARember, showcasing an adorable chibi Xie Lian. The first edition, similar to the release for the first volume, will have designed sprayed edges, custom endpapers, a deluxe jacket, and a custom case stamp with gold foil.

The synopsis for Volume 4 reads:

After enduring sandstorms and deadly scorpion-snakes, Xie Lian and his companions arrive in the long-fallen Kingdom of Banyue. They’re no closer to uncovering the culprit behind a string of deaths and disappearances, and now they must also search for the rare shanyue plant, the only known antidote for the scorpion-snakes’ venom.

With two mysterious female cultivators on their tail—one of whom may be the infamous Banyue Sate Preceptor, the traitor who doomed the kingdom—the group explores the ruins of the capital city. When they discover the horrific fate awaiting those who travel the road to Banyue, Xie Lian will need to reckon with a piece of his past, and San Lang may finally be forced to his true form.

Based on Mo Xiang Tong Xiu’s popular danmei series, Heaven Official’s Blessing follows an unlucky god named Xie Lian who was once a beloved prince among the mortals and god among the heavens. After being banished twice, Xie Lian has become the laughingstock of all three realms. When he ascends for an unprecedented third time, it turns the heavens upside down. With multiple palaces destroyed, Xie Lian now has to find some way to pay the damages but with no followers and therefore no power, he can’t do much except descend to the mortal realm to hunt down ghosts. There, he meets a mysterious red-robed young man who seems to know a lot about Xie Lian.

The first volume for the hit danmei manhua was released on December 2 and covered the first 14 chapters of the original webcomic published on Bilibili. Volume 2 spanned Chapters 15 to 27 and released on July 7. Volume 3 covered Chapters 28 to 38 and came out on November 3.

Volume 4 includes Chapters 39 to 49 and releases on January 12, 2027. The digital version of the manhua is available to read on Lezhin.
