The first part of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle film trilogy is finally coming to Crunchyroll.

More than a year later after its theatrical premiere, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle will finally make its streaming debut on Crunchyroll on July 28. The film will be available worldwide except for Japan and China. That same day, fans can also purchase the film digitally on Apple TV, Prime Video, Google Play, YouTube, and Fandango. This will also be available to stream on Netflix.

Premiering in Japan on July 18, 2025, the film has made about $252.5 million dollars in Japan and $740.5 million worldwide. The success of the film has made it the second highest-earning film of all time after Studio Ghibli’s Spirited Away. The film covers the “Infinity Castle” arc in the manga.

Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, the film won numerous awards including “Best International Animation Award” at the Critics’ Choice Awards Celebration of Cinema and Television, “Film of the Year” at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, “Best Animation Film” at the Japan Academy Film Prize, and “Best International Animated Film” at the Saturn Awards. It also scored a nomination for “Best Motion Picture – Animated” at the Golden Globe Awards.

Following the events of the fourth season, the first part of the film takes the demon slayers into Kibutsuji’s Infinity Castle and separates them. He unleashes the rest of his Lower Rank and Upper Rank demons, hoping to eliminate them all. Each of the characters are forced to fight against powerful foes that push them to their limits.

Based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba follows Tanjiro Kamado’s quest to turn his sister, Nezuko, back into a human after she was transformed into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji, the sadistic progenitor of all demons in existence. The series first inspired an animated season but the sheer popularity and animation quality done by Studio Ufotable has shot Demon Slayer into worldwide fame.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I comes out on Crunchyroll on July 28.
