Tokyo Revengers has dropped a new trailer and the premiere date for the new season featuring the “Tenjiku” arc.

Tokyo Revengers revealed a new trailer and key visual to hype up the upcoming season that will adapt the “Tenjiku” arc. The trailer features the first time Mikey meets Izana Kurokawa, the leader of Tenjiku, with the former playing around with his taiyaki. The trailer promises more fights and violence with Takemichi fighting against Kakucho, Izana’s right-hand man. At the very end, Emma’s voice faintly calls out Draken’s name. The “Tenjiku” arc will air on Oct. 3. HEY-SMITH will perform the ending song “Say My Name.”

A new key visual highlights the conflict between rival gangs Toman and Tenjiku, as represented by Mikey and Izana, respectively. The two stand in what appears to be a port with hundreds of crates surrounding them. Izana has a wide grin plastered on his face while Mikey stares resolutely at him.

Nobunaga Shimazaki will join the new season as Izana Kurokawa. Tetsu Inada will voice Kanji Mochizuki and Seiichirō Yamashita as Kakucho. Kouki Uchiyama, Daisuke Namikawa and Hiro Shimono will voice Shion Madarame, Ran Haitani and Rindo Haitani.

Based on the best-selling manga series written and illustrated by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers received an anime adaptation, courtesy of Liden Films. The story follows 26-year-old loser Takemichi Hanagaki who finds out his girlfriend in middle school and her brother have been murdered by the Tokyo Manji Gang, an organization known for committing all kinds of heinous crimes. When Takemichi gets pushed in front of a train, he wakes up 12 years in the past and realizes he may be able to save his girlfriend from her tragic death. As he investigates, he realizes the Tokyo Manji Gang from 12 years ago is a very different group than the one he’s familiar with in the future.

The first season of Tokyo Revengers premiered on Crunchyroll with the second season, adapting the “Christmas Showdown” arc, available on Disney+ and Hulu.
