Rosmei Goes on the Run With Three Crime Danmei
Rosmei is adding crime danmei to their library with their licenses of Wine and Gun, The Killer of Killers and Enchanted.
These serial killers are not people you want to meet in a dark alley at night.
As announced on their official social media account, indie publisher Rosmei has unveiled their next set of danmei licenses. Delving into the crime genre, the publisher has revealed they have licensed The Killer of Killers, Wine and Gun and Enchanted. All three danmei will release sometime in 2024.
Written by Wu Yi, The Killer of Killers (Sha Qing) features a story filled with action, murder, and tests the characters’ psychological limits. Sha Qing is one of the FBI’s most wanted serial killers and Leo Lawrence is an FBI agent who is determined to capture Sha Qing. Sha Qing has evaded the officials for many years and a virtual enigma; nobody really knows what he’s thinking behind that flirtatious smile. Will Leo finally be able to capture Sha Qing or will he find himself wearing the handcuffs? ayszhang will translate the novel into English.
Written by Mengye Mengye, Wine and Gun follows a forensic pathologist named Albarino who secretly lives a second life. By day, he investigates crime scenes and solves crimes. By night, he dons on the identity of a psycho serial killer. One night, Albarino is shocked to find the person he’s been targeting for three months winds up dead — and not by his own hands. Xiao will translate the novel into English.
Wu Chen Shui’s Enchanted is set in Hong Kong. The summary for Enchanted is scarce, but Rosmei summarizes the story as, “Shou [bottom] killed guilty people for revenge, while gong [top] was the police officer who investigated the events, and enchanted to Shou at the first sight :).”
