The sequel to the much-loved webtoon Dark Moon: Blood Altar will launch globally on WEBTOON on November 28.
HYBE has announced that Dark Moon: Two Moons will premiere globally in North America, Latin America, Thailand, and Korea on November 28. It will then release in Japan and Indonesia a day later. Two Moons is the fifth in the Dark Moon series and the fourth starring K-Pop boy group ENHYPEN. This sequel comes two years after Blood Altar wrapped up its story in 2023. Little is known about the sequel other than that a new girl who looks identical to Sooha appears. A cover can be seen below:

Dark Moon: The Blood Altar released on January 15, 2022 and follows the age-old rivalry between vampires and werewolves. When a new student named Sooha transfers to Riverfield, it triggers a chain reaction where horrific incidents start taking place and the boys from the two rival schools at Riverdale start remembering their forgotten past. The story concluded with 70 episodes on August 12, 2023.
A prequel called Dark Moon: Children of Vamfield launched in March 2024 with a spin-off prequel releasing just a few years earlier in December 2022 called Dark Moon: The Grey City, although this starred the Japanese boy band &Team.
The series has amassed 200 million views worldwide and HYBE hopes that the sequel will follow in the original’s footsteps and fascinate readers. “The introduction of new characters marks an exciting new chapter in the saga,” the company said, “and we believe even readers unfamiliar with the previous series will find it thoroughly intriguing.”
An anime adaptation of Blood Altar will by produced by Troyca and premieres in January 2026. The print version of the webcomic and novel have been licensed by Ize Press.
