About Weak Hero Class 1, Island and Duty After School

Loosely based on the webcomic series Weak Hero, written by Seopass with illustrations by Kim Jinseok (Razen), Weak Hero Class 1 follows Yeon Sieun, played by Park Jihoon, a model student who ranks in the top 1% in his class who shows barely any interest in anything that’s not his studies. When the class bully Jeon Yeongbin, played by Kim Sugyeom, turns his attention to Sieun, Sieun refuses to back down. Despite his physically weak stature, he manages to hold his own and defend himself using his quick wits. He eventually befriends the strongest fighter in the school Ahn Suho, played by Choi Hyunwook, and Oh Beomseok, played by Hong Kyung, and the three attempt to defend themselves and each other from the seemingly unceasing levels of violence.

Weak Hero Class 1 aired for 8 episodes in November 2021 and is available to watch on Viki.

Based on the webcomic series written by Youn Inwan with illustrations by Yang, Island revolves around three individuals, a tormented man who can never die named Van, played by Kim Namgil, a third-generation chaebol named Lee Miho, played by Lee Dahee, and Yohan who is searching for his brother, played by Cha Eunwoo. When Miho arrives on Jeju Island, she unexpectedly finds herself at the centre of unwanted attention by demons, thus setting off a string of events that pits the three of them in a war against evil.

Island is available on Amazon Prime Video.

Based on the webcomic written by Ha Ilkwon, Duty After School follows a group of senior students who, instead of going to cram school or any other extracurricular activities, enter a war to fight against mysterious creatures that come from the skies. The K-Drama adaptation stars Shin Hyunsoo as the lieutenant of Class 3-2 Lee Chunho, Lee Soonwon as Kim Wonbin and Im Semi as the homeroom teacher Park Eunyoung.

All 10 episodes of Duty After School are available to stream on Viki.
