Unintentional Love Story K-Drama Adaptation Announces March Premiere Date
The live-action adaptation of the BL manhwa Unintentional Love Story has announced its premiere date.
TVING (@tvingdotcom) tweeted out Unintentional Love Story, adapted from PIBI’s manhwa, will make its debut on March 17. The series will stream on TVING and iQiyi. The adaptation stars Cha Seowon as Yoon Taejun and B1A4’s Gongchan as Ji Wonyoung. Jang Euisoon (Peach of Time) will direct with screenplay by Shin Ji-ahn. This will be the streaming platform’s first original Korean BL series.
Wonyoung and Taejun’s love story starts off with a lie. Caught up in his company’s corruption scandal, Wonyoung suddenly finds himself suspended from work. Determined to find a way to go back to work, Wonyoung happens across a pottery artist during a trip and realizes he had just met Yoon Taejun, the chairman’s favourite artist. What started off as a plan for Wonyoung to woo Taejun enough to get back into his company’s good books soon turns into a love story Wonyoung never intended to have.
Fans can catch up on the manhwa, available on Lezhin Comics. Unintentional Love Story premieres on March 17.
