If your spring reading list is starting to look thin, Titan Comics just fixed that. The publisher has unveiled its May 2026 solicitation slate, and it’s packed with manga debuts, ongoing favorites, and a dash of Star Wars for good measure.
What’s Landing in May
Leading the charge is Aoashi (3-in-1 Edition) Volume 1, collecting the first three volumes of Yugo Kobayashi’s celebrated soccer manga. The series, which wrapped its decade-long run in 2025, follows young striker Ashito Aoi as he navigates the cutthroat world of professional youth soccer. With a second anime season on the horizon, this omnibus format is a smart entry point for new readers.
Titan is also launching a brand-new series: Record Journey Vol. 1 by Ryoichiro Kezuka, a 240-page debut arriving April 7. Details remain under wraps, but the 240-page count suggests a meaty start.
Returning Favorites
Several ongoing series hit new milestones in May:
- Scavengers Another Sky Vol. 2 continues Ryo Furube’s monster-infested saga as the team delves deeper into the Black Parade, uncovering unsettling truths about their own pasts.
- Sanda Vol. 3 arrives from Paru Itagaki (Beastars), with the Prime Video anime adaptation already generating buzz.
- Saint Seiya: Dark Wing Vol. 3 drops May 12, featuring a fateful clash between twin brothers Shōichirō (now Wyvern Judge of the Underworld) and Sōjirō (the Gemini Gold Saint) as the war between realms intensifies.
- Gran Familia Vol. 3 continues Kenji Hamada’s supernatural crime thriller, following vampire heir Leo as turf wars threaten the fragile peace.
- Kamen Rider Kuuga Vol. 12 closes out the month on May 26, marking another chapter in the long-running tokusatsu franchise.
For Magazine Readers
The solicitations also include Star Wars Insider #237, keeping fans updated on all things galaxy far, far away.
