The penultimate volume of the fantasy danmei series Three Hundred Years of Longing has revealed its cover.

Seven Seas Entertainment has revealed the cover for the third volume of Three Hundred Years of Longing and it features Wu Xingxue standing in what appears to be a sea of fire. On top is a powerful creature resembling a dragon staring intensely at Wu Xingxue and at the bottom is a skull. Thorny branches decorate the back cover. 红鹤鸣冬 designed the cover with Me.Mimo now taking over as the interior artwork. Foxghost continues to translate the series.

Seven Seas has addressed the issue of artists changing before, citing a variety of reasons why an artist might leave a project including personal.

Written by Mu Su Li, Three Hundred Years of Longing follows a former aristocrat named Wu Xingxue who wakes up to find himself now an imprisoned archfiend atop a thirty-three-story prison. His awakening has also created another issue for him to worry about and it’s in the form of Xian Fuxuan, a man known as the legendary Tianxiu Immortal.

Dragged back into the present after a battle in a warped past, Wu Xingxue carries the scars of a timeline that should never have been. Xiao Fuxuan brings the weakened archfiend to Fly-On-By to recover, but the hideaway offers little refuge—especially when Feng Xueli, the new archon of Nightgleam, arrives at the gates ready for a fight. The schemes of a long-hidden enemy are dragging them all into dire conflict.

Amid the turmoil, the truth of Wu Xingxue and Xiao Fuxuan’s shared past finally emerges. They share a bond that transcends good and evil, tested by time and tribulation—and desperately needed now as they face impending doom.

Three Hundred Years of Longing releases its third volume on May 12.
