The Beginning After the End will be coming back with Season 7 next month.
The popular webcomic that started off as a webnovel but has spun into various adaptations is going six seasons strong and has recently announced that Season 7 will premiere on March 12. The last update was on July 3, 2025, marking more than eight months since a new episode has dropped. A new cover for the upcoming season has also been revealed.
Writer TurtleMe’s inspiration for The Beginning After the End came from his love for fantasy stories including Mushoku Tensei and Eragon. As a way to escape from the mundanity of his corporate job, he began writing the story and uploaded it on Royalroad. He made the transition to Tapas when an editor reached out. The webnovel has since moved to Kindle Unlimited on February 5.
The webnovel was adapted into a webcomic in July 2018 which has garnered close to 50 million views since. The comic adaptation has gone through some changes with Fuyuki23 leaving the series at the end of Season 5 due to payment negotiations falling through. MGK-Story has been the artist for Season 6 since.
