Tappytoon has announced that several popular webnovels will soon become unavailable for further unlocking on the platform, following a request from the original novel publisher.
According to an official notice from Tappytoon, the affected titles will no longer be available for unlocking after December 30, 2025, at 11:59 pm ET. Once the cutoff time passes, readers will not be able to unlock any additional chapters for these series.
The titles impacted by the removal include:
- A Villainess for the Tyrant
- Light and Shadow
- Father, I Don’t Want This Marriage
- I Adopted a Villainous Dad
- The Male Lead Is Mine
- I’m Not the Final Boss’ Lover
- Heroine on Strike
- No Moral
- Fairytale for Wizards
- The Fake Husband in a Strange Palace
- Look at Me
- Deadman Switch
- Kiss Me, Liar
Tappytoon clarified that readers who unlock chapters before the deadline will retain access to them permanently. All previously unlocked chapters—including free chapters—will remain available in users’ Libraries under the Subscribed and Recent tabs.
However, beginning December 30, 2025, at 12:00 am ET, no additional chapters for these titles can be unlocked, regardless of currency or subscription status.
The platform apologized for the inconvenience and thanked readers for their continued support of original comics. Fans interested in completing these series are encouraged to unlock remaining chapters before the deadline.
