Spy x Family’s VA for Becky Blackbell discusses her favourite episodes from Season 1. She also reveals Season 2 will adapt Becky’s visit to the Forger home.

Spy x Family‘s voice actor for Becky discusses some of her favourite scenes from Season 1 and 2.

In an interview with Animate Times, Emiri Katō, the voice actor behind Becky Blackbell, dove into the first two seasons of Spy x Family. The voice actor revealed Season 2 would adapt the short chapter of Becky visiting the Forger family household for the first time and meeting Anya’s parents Loid and Yor. Becky had previously seen a picture of Loid in Episode 17 and fallen head over heels when she saw his face.

“I’m looking forward to the episode where Becky meets Loid for the first time when she visits Anya’s house,” Katō said. “As you might imagine, Becky’s excitement is similar to when she meets her precious for the first time. I hope the scene when her eyes roll is exactly how you imagined it.”

The voice actor also discussed her favourite episode from Season 1 which was in Episode 10 “The Great Dodgeball Plan.” Although her character appeared a few times, it was Bill Watkins who stole the show in the episode. Most notably, this episode featured original elements not seen in the manga such as the parodies to various shonen series. “It was like watching a hot-blooded sports anime,” she said. “The movements were large and it was really fun to just watch it. I think it’s a work of art.”

Katō also noted Episode 8 “The Counter-Secret Police Cover Operation” as another favourite of hers as it featured one of her favourite characters Yuri. “It was interesting to see the difference in his expression when he’s with Yor and when he’s not,” she said. “I [also] like how Loid and Yor worked hard to interact with each other as a couple.”

Spy x Family Season 2 is currently airing on Crunchyroll.
