Spy x Family Creator Is Confused Which Yuri is Which

Even Spy x Family mangaka Tatsuya Endo wasn’t sure which one was the real Yuri.

SPOILERS: Spy x Family Chapter 83 by Tatsuya Endo, available in English on Viz Media and Manga Plus.

Sometimes, Spy x Family‘s Loid’s ability to perfectly replicate whoever he’s trying to disguise himself as is more of a curse than a blessing. And Tatsuya Endo has no one to blame but himself.

Spy x Family‘s Chapter 83 featured a thrilling showdown between Yuri and Loid as both of their respective organizations work to intercept Winston Wheeler, a former WISE agent who is racing to hand over important documents to the SSS. Yuri and Yuri (Loid in disguise) meet and duke it out with the real Yuri getting disarmed but not before he shoots and injures Loid. The two Yuris engage in an exciting hand-to-hand combat, making it increasingly difficult to know who’s the real Yuri and who’s the fake to the point even where Tatsuya Endo confessed he had a hard time keeping track of the Yuris.
