Spy x Family Code: White Lands in International Theaters in April

The Forgers are making a stop in North America on April 19 as they embark on their family vacation in Spy x Family Code: White.

Calling all Spy x Family fans from North America! The Code: White movie train is now boarding.

Spy x Family Code: White has announced the theatrical dates for its North American premiere. The highly-anticipated original film premieres on April 19 in the United States, Canada, and Spain. The film will be available in Japanese with English subs and in English dubbed. The Forgers will also make its international debut in the following countries on the following dates, according to Crunchyroll:

  • April 17: Belgium, France, Switzerland (French-speaking)
  • April 18: Australia, New Zealand
  • April 23: Austria, Germany
  • April 24: Italy, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago
  • April 25: Argentina, Aruba, Bolivia, Brazil, Central America, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curacao, Denmark, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Mexico (in IMAX on April 18), Netherlands, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Suriname, Switzerland (German-speaking), Switzerland (Italian-speaking), and Uruguay
  • April 26: Bulgaria, Ecuador, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Venezuela

Produced by CloverWorks and Wit Studio, Spy x Family Code: White is an original story with mangaka Tatsuya Endo credited for the original work and character designs. Endo will still be involved with the film as he will come onboard as the supervisor. Takashi Katagiri will direct the film with Ichiro Okouchi as the scriptwriter. Kazuki Shimada will design the characters with Kyoji Asano as the chief animation director. [K]NoW_NAMe will produce the music. Official HiGE DANdism performs the theme song “Soulsoup.” Gen Hoshino performs the ending theme song “Hikari no Ato” which translates to “Trails of Light,” and is said to serve as a sequel to their ending theme song for Spy x Family‘s first season “Kigeki” which translates to “Comedy.”

Takuya Eguchi, Saori Hayami, Atsumi Tanezaki, and Kenichirō Matsuda will reprise their roles as Loid Forger, Yor Forger, Anya Forger, and Bond Forger in the film. In addition, Tomoya Nakamura, Kento Kaku, Banjou Ginga, and Shunsuke Takeuchi joined the film as Dmitri, Luka, Snijder, and Type F.

The film first released in theatres on Dec. 22, 2023 and has been making headlines with its impressive numbers. The film earned 1.224 billion yen in the first three days and is number one in the box office for the third week in a row. The film earned 4.41 billion yen in 18 days of its screening, selling over 3.29 million tickets.

Spy x Family Code: White, an original film based on the manga written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo, thrusts the Forgers into a rather unexpected predicament. Threatened with the prospect that his current mission Operation Strix may be taken away from him, Loid Forger decides he needs to prove to his agency that he is the perfect man for the job. To do this, he takes his daughter Anya and wife Yor on a vacation so Anya may learn to recreate a special dessert for her principal as part of a cooking competition. An English-subbed version of the film premiered on Jan. 19 in Japan in select theatres.
