Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Set for Short Hiatus, Jin Leaving Series

solo leveling ragnarok season 2

Solo Leveling: Ragnarok will go on a short, but indefinite, hiatus.

Season 2 of the spin-off webcomic series Solo Leveling: Ragnarok ended on January 7 with Episode 68. At the conclusion of the season, artist Jin wrote a note, announcing that he would be departing the series temporarily due to his military enlistment. Another artist, known as DUBU’s Disciple–the name given to artists who previously worked with the original artist, will be taking over for the time being.

Jin offered their support for the new artist in their message and thanked all of those who had worked with them and readers for their love.

Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, a webnovel written by DAUL, acts as the spin-off for the original series written by Chugong. The English translation was released on January 6, 2024 and has 1.2 million views.

The webcomic adaptation of Ragnarok launched on Kakaopage on July 31, 2024 and has garnered 34 million views. The English translation premiered on November 11, 2024 and has hit 1.6 million views.

Tapas has the synopsis below:

After witnessing the death of one of their own, the Absolute Ones — creators of the many universes outside of our own — frantically seek to fill the power void left by their fallen brother. With earth’s existence in danger once more as gates spill monsters into our dimension, Sung Suho must answer the call and conquer the shadow dungeon while learning of his father’s legendary legacy.
