Seven Seas has announced a new separate imprint for their Chinese girls’ love titles.
Alongside their Wonderful Wednesday yuri bonanza licenses, the publishing company delighted fans by announcing they will launch a new imprint dedicated for their baihe (Chinese for girls’ love) works as a result of the overwhelming support and love for their first baihe license The Beauty’s Blade. They did not reveal any new licenses but did display a pink lotus flower with their logo.
Seven Seas stepped its toes into the Chinese novel space with their danmei licenses and had been focused on Chinese boys’ love titles for more than four years. The Beauty’s Blade, written by Feng Ren Zuo Shu, was their first baihe license ever on October 2 and it caused quite a stir among girls’ love fans who were both excited and slightly confused that the publisher had chosen to license this particular title.
A single volume work, The Beauty’s Blade was released on November 11, 2025 and enjoyed two different covers, one being a Seven Seas cover illustrated by Velinxi and the other a Crunchyroll exclusive cover illustrated by Gravity Dusty.
Baihe titles licensed by Seven Seas will be announced under their new imprint.
