Everyone better be wearing red from head to toe on January 24.
Ize Press has teamed up with Missing Narwhal Events to put on a Semantic Error event for the fans who love the novel’s robot weirdo and insufferable asshole (Disclaimer that the writer of this article adores the weirdo and asshole and says it with immeasurable fondness). Fans can come together to the free cupsleeve event on January 24 from 12 PM to 4 PM to play games, drink, participate in a stamp rally, and win prizes. Fans can also play games in the retro gaming area.

The stamp card rally has five subjects for fans to try to pass.
In “Error Excerpts,” fans will be given a random excerpt (spicy or not) from the novel to read in however way they want. Once they do so, they’ll be entered into a raffle for a free copy of the Semantic Error novel with winners announced every hour.
In “Debug with a Drink,” fans will simply have to purchase a drink and show the receipt to the hosts. In return, they’ll receive an art card featuring Sangwoo and Jaeyoung in racecar driver attire.
In “Semantic Scribbles,” fans will need to doodle a Semantic Error-related drawing and put it on the wall to receive an art card of the Jaeyoung in a collar (yes, really).
“Memory.Exe” demands a strong memory as fans will need to match three of the Semantic Error manhwa and novel covers. Once they successfully do that, they’ll be rewarded with an art card of the novel cover.
“Semantic Snapshots” will require fans to stand in front of the standee, take a photo, and post it on their social media platform with the hashtag #SemanticErrorNovelCelebration. Fans will get to take home an art card of Sangwoo and Jaeyoung kissing in the car.
Those who complete all five tasks will also receive a free coaster.

Everyone says LA gets all the fun events, but I’m sitting here wondering why NY seems to be getting all the cool events lately!
