See You in My 19th Life will have a new special spin-off, launching after the live-action drama’s premiere.
As reported by CBR, WEBTOON has revealed See You in My 19th Life, created by Lee Hey, will release a spin-off called “Memories.” The spin-off will take readers into the past. The first five chapters will premiere on the platform on June 21, following the K-drama adaptation on June 17.
According to WEBTOON’s synopsis, “Memories” follows “young siblings Juwom and Seoha after their mother passes away and has not yet been reincarnated, as they search for an old necklace their mother lost in a small countryside town she frequented and embark on an adventure down memory lane.”
See You in My 19th Life features a young woman named Ban Jieum with a rather unusual ability: she remembers every life she has ever lived. In her 18th life where she is known as Yoon Juwon, she meets a young boy named Moon Seoha who piques her interest. However, a car accident steals her life and Seoha away from her. When she wakes up in her 19th life as Ban Jieum, Jieum launches herself into a search for the people in her previous life.
Co-produced by Studio N and Studio Finecut, the live-action adaptation stars Shin Hyesun and Ahn Bohyun. The drama airs on Netflix on June 17. Fans can catch the spin-off on WEBTOON on June 21.
