Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- continues to reign as one of the most iconic isekai anime of its time, taking home the “Best Isekai Anime” award at the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, held in Tokyo on May 25, 2025. With its third season capturing global audiences and pushing the franchise past 13 million copies sold (including digital editions), the team behind the series has officially confirmed that Season 4 will premiere in 2026.
The Re:ZERO franchise, based on the original light novels by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka, has remained a fan favorite since its debut. Season 3 escalated the stakes as Subaru and his companions faced devastating losses during the deadly battle in Priestella. While victory came at a price, the gripping story and high production values cemented the season’s reputation as a standout entry in the isekai genre.
A teaser for Season 4 has also been released, offering a glimpse of what lies ahead as Subaru ventures to the Pleiades Watchtower in search of a way to save Rem, who remains trapped in a cursed sleep. Facing treacherous dunes, monstrous threats, and ancient powers, Subaru’s next journey promises even more high-stakes drama and emotional intensity.

The new season will be produced by WHITE FOX, with Masahiro Shinohara returning as director and Tappei Nagatsuki directly involved in script supervision. Music will once again be composed by Kenichiro Suehiro, with sound direction by Jin Aketagawa and animation supervised by Haruka Sagawa.
