Qiang Jin Jiu Drops Second Half of Audio Drama Season 4

The second half of S4 of Qiang Jin Jiu’s audio drama adaptation has premiered.

Qiang Jin Jiu has returned with Season 4 of its audio drama adaptation.

The second half of Season 4 of the audio drama adaptation of Qiang Jin Jiu has dropped. The first episode launched on Feb. 3 with subsequent episodes releasing every Saturday. Season 1 premiered on March 12, 2020 with Season 2 launching a few months later on Oct. 1, 2020. Season 3 released on July 22, 2021 with the first half of Season 4 releasing on May 13, 2022.

Written by Tang Jiuqing, Qiang Jin Jiu follows Shen Zechuan, the eighth son of the traitorous Prince of Jianxing who is dragged to the feet of Xiao Chiye, the longest son of the Prince of Libei. Xiao Chiye does his utmost best to crush Shen Zechaun but he survives, against all odds. As the two fight against the political world of the capital, they discover that they do not have to stand against each other as enemies but beside each other as allies, friends, and lovers.

The series also inspired a manhua adaptation which released on Aug. 15, but has since been taken down. Seven Seas has licensed the series for an official English release with Vol. 1 releasing on June 4, 2024.
