One Piece Live-Action Has Script for Season 2
Netflix’s hit series One Piece is ready to film a second season as soon as the Hollywood strikes are over.
Netflix’s hit live-action adaptation of the anime One Piece allegedly has a completed script for a second season.
Prominent X (formerly known as Twitter) manga account Manga Mogura RE reports based on an article released by Variety that a script is completed for One Piece Season 2. Filming is contingent on the end of the Hollywood strikes.
The live-action adaptation of the beloved anime series has become Netflix’s top-watched series since its release, beating out titles such as Wednesday and Stranger Things. Forbes reported that by Sept. 3, the show had over 10,000 reviews and maintained a 95% audience score and 83% critic score. The audience score makes the special distinction of being one of Netflix’s highest audience scores to date, indicating how well-received One Piece is by viewers.
One Piece is available to stream on Netflix. No further information is available regarding a second season at the time of writing.
