My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered is headed to HIDIVE in January 2024.
My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered will find its streaming home at HIDIVE.
HIDIVE has announced My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, or the full title My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me! will stream on its platform in January 2024. The anime will premiere Episode 1 in North America on Nov. 17 at Anime NYC.
The anime adaptation will be helmed by director Masakazu Hishida with the animation studio Okuruto Noboru (Tomodachi Game) producing. Hishida will write the series scripts under their pen name Yuzuru Aoba. Sayuri Sakimoto will preside as the character designer. The music will be composed by a various number of composers including Hanae Nakamura, Tatsuhiko Saiki, Kanade Sakuma, and Daisuke Kadowaki.
Kouki Uchiyama will voice protagonist Yogiri Takatou. Miyu Tomita will voice Tomochika Dannoura. Tomoko Kaneda voices Mokomoko Dannoura and Yui Hoi will voice Sion the Sage.
A light novel series written by Tsuyoshi Fujitaka with a manga adaptation illustrated by Hanamura Nanto, My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered finds Yogiri Takatou and his friends transported to another world by a Sage while they’re on a school trip. He and his friend are abandoned on the roadside by the sage who only takes those gifted to train them into sages. However, Yogiri isn’t too worried since he has a secret ability that allows him to invoke Instant Death with a single thought.
My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered is available to read in English on J-Novel Club digitally and Yen Press as a physical print.
