Mashle: Magic and Muscles Promises Danger in Season 2 Announcement
Mashle: Magic and Muscles will receive a second season and adapts the “Divine Visionary Selection Exam” arc.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles has announced a second season.
Mash will continue to be mighty in Season 2 of Mashle: Magic and Muscles. A teaser PV released to commemorate the announcement, revealing the second season will launch sometime in January 2024. The PV hints that Mash will be facing powerful opponents in the next arc titled “Divine Visionary Selection Exam.”
Written and illustrated by Hajime Kōmoto, Mashle: Magic and Muscles began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Jump in January 2020 and is set to finish with Chapter 162 on July 2. Set in a world where magic is mighty and one’s magical prowess determines where they are at in society, Mash is basically at the bottom. With absolutely no magic in his body, Mash Burnedead decides he must enrolling in the elite magic school East Magic Academy in the hopes that he may become a Divine Visionary. What he lacks in magic, he makes up for sheer jaw-dropping physical strength.
The series received an anime adaptation, produced by A-1 Pictures, and debuted on April 8. Tomoya Tanaka directed the adaptation with Yōsuke Kuroda as the scriptwriter. A team comprised of Souta Furuhashi, Takao Shimazaki and Diana Lu oversaw the production. Mashle will receive a “complete” anime adaptation.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles is available to stream on Crunchyroll. Season 2 will premiere in January 2024.
