MANGA MIRAI expanded its English-language catalog in December with a new slate of official manga releases from publishers Shufu to Seikatsu Sha and TO Books. The additions brought several fan-favorite and first-time English titles to the platform, continuing MANGA MIRAI’s push to make licensed Japanese manga more accessible to global readers.
Leading the releases, A Nordic Noble and His Eagle Wife’s Hunting Life in a Snowy Land arrived on December 5. The series adapts Mashimesa Emoto’s award-winning novel into manga form, following Ritshard, an impoverished noble ruling the frozen Borderlands, and Sieglinde, a former soldier known as the Crimson Eagle. What begins as a one-year trial marriage slowly grows into a heartfelt romance as the pair build a peaceful life through hunting, cooking, and crafting in the snowy countryside.
On December 12, TO Books added two more titles to the lineup. Sword, Tiara, and High Heels: The Duke’s Daughter with a Hero’s Soul centers on Celetina, a duke’s daughter reincarnated with memories of her past life as a knight. Despite her fragile body and pressure to live as a proper noble lady, she pursues her dream of knighthood with unwavering determination. Meanwhile, The Countess Who Can’t Tell Faces Apart but Is Doted On by the Evil Duke tells the story of Sara, a noblewoman with face blindness who enters an arranged marriage with a feared duke—only to find kindness and understanding behind his intimidating reputation.
These December releases capped off a strong year of growth for MANGA MIRAI, reinforcing its mission to deliver official English translations directly from Japanese publishers. Many of the platform’s titles are now available in English for the first time, alongside exclusive licensed series and original works.
As MANGA MIRAI continues to expand its digital library, readers can explore an increasingly diverse range of stories spanning romance, fantasy, and character-driven drama—all while supporting creators through official releases.
