Link Click will release a manhua adaptation and will feature a brand-new story.
Link Click fans will have more material to look forward to in a new manhua adaptation.
Announced on Bilibili Manga, Link Click will inspire a manhua adaptation. The manhua will be separate from the donghua and will feature a brand-new story. The Link Click manhua will drop on Sept. 22. There is no indication of how many chapters it will contain and whether it will only feature the one story or more.
The preview begins with Lu Guang reciting his usual three rules to Cheng Xiaoshi. It then transitions to a playwright named Lin Kai asking for help to find a video from 10 years ago. The preview ends with Lu Guang ominously telling his partner he only has 10 minutes to do what he needs to do.
An original donghua written and directed by Li Haoling, Link Click is produced and animated by LAN Studio and Haoliners Animation League. The donghua aired its first season on April 30, 2021 for 12 episodes and is currently in its second season which premiered on July 14, 2023. The story follows friends Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang who have the ability to go back in time through photographs with a simple high-five. The first season followed more of a slice-of-life format before diving into the thriller genre. The second season continues where the first left off.
The donghua is available to watch on Crunchyroll.
