LEGO has officially announced plans to release building sets inspired by Netflix’s animated hit KPop Demon Hunters, with the first wave scheduled to arrive later this summer.
The company shared the news on February 4, confirming that preorders will open sometime this spring, though specific details about the initial set have not yet been revealed. Alongside the announcement, LEGO released a short teaser video featuring Derpy, the supernatural creature from the film, hinting that the character will play a central role in the debut release.
In a press statement, LEGO said the upcoming set will “bring to life the beloved, supernatural creature from the movie,” signaling a focus on the film’s fantasy elements rather than its human cast—at least for now. Additional KPop Demon Hunters sets are already in development and are expected to launch in 2027.
The announcement follows a major milestone for the franchise. On February 1, the song “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters won Best Song Written for Visual Media at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, further cementing the film’s cultural impact.
LEGO now joins Mattel and Hasbro, both of which revealed their own KPop Demon Hunters toy lines during the Nuremberg International Toy Fair on January 27. With multiple major toy manufacturers investing in the property, Netflix’s animated feature continues to expand its presence well beyond the screen.
More information about the LEGO sets, including pricing and official images, is expected to be announced closer to the preorder launch window.
