Would you like to go on seven dates… in July?
Manhwa imprint Ize Press has dropped their first licensing announcement of the year and it’s a bit of a surprise. Seven Sundays, written and illustrated by Charyeok, is a fairly short manhwa that went a little under the radar when it was first released on digital platforms but has since gained some more traction. With only 22 chapters, Ize Press will release Seven Days in two volumes.

Seven Sundays is a story about reunions. Firefighter Taeyang reunites with his first love after his heroic rescue lands him a television appearance at Jiwan’s station. Though Jiwan tries to avoid Taeyang by hilariously dressing up in a dinosaur costume, Taeyang immediately knows who it is. It has been eight years since they’ve broken up and things have changed with the biggest change being Jiwan now has a seven-year-old son who has the exact same name as Taeyang. Convinced that Jiwan still has feelings for him (who names their kid after a “fling”?), Taeyang proposes he go out with him for seven dates for each year that he missed with Jiwan.
Seven Sundays joins the Ize Press BL line-up along with other popular titles such as Radio Storm, Tied to You, and Murderous Lewellyn’s Candlelit Dinner. It’ll be the imprint’s third modern day manhwa after licensing Semantic Error and Lover Boy.
The manhwa is serialized digitally on Manta, Lezhin, Tapas, and Tappytoon. The physical print version of Seven Sundays releases in July 2026 and will feature the mature version.
