I Stan the Prince Announces Return for October After Hiatus

After almost two years of hiatus, I Stan the Prince will return on Oct. 12. The series has been on break since December 2021 due to the creator’s health.

Fans can happily resume stanning I Stan the Prince in October.

As @/lilienneislar posted on their social media account, I Stan the Prince will resume serialization on its Korean platform on Oct. 12. The webcomic has been on hiatus since December 2022. The series was originally set to return in August 2023 but the hiatus was extended due to the creator’s health. The publisher M Story Hub asked for the readers’ understanding as “the writer’s health is more important than anything else.”

I Stan the Prince began serialization on Kakao on Feb. 17, 2020. Season 1 ran until Aug. 20, concluded with 45 chapters. The second season launched on the platform on April 8, 2021 and currently has 66 chapters. The serialization schedule changed a few weeks after Season 2 began to a five-week-serialization-one-week-break cadence and continued until Dec. 15, 2021 where the publishers released a notice, informing readers of a long-term hiatus due to a deterioration in both physical and mental health.

The webcomic series enters around Angela who finds herself in hot water when her fanfic about the dethroned Prince Rayburn gets published behind her back and becomes a popular bestseller. What’s worse is that the imperial family has found out and have called for her head. The only way for Angela to save herself is to write a sequel to improve the prince’s now-ruined reputation but that’s easier said than done after what she wrote about Rayburn in her first novel.

I Stan the Prince is available to read on Tappytoon. There is no announcement yet of the series’ return on the English platform. I Stan the Prince will resume on Oct. 12 on Kakao.
