Horimiya: The Missing Pieces Reveals Premiere Date In Adorable New Trailer

Horimiya: The Missing Pieces has announced it will air on July 1, dropping a new trailer and teaser visual in the process.

Hori, Miyamura and the rest of the gang will return on July 1 for Horimiya: The Missing Pieces.

The missing manga material from the first season of Horimiya come together in a new trailer for Horimiya: The Missing Pieces. The trailer introduces the Sports Festival arc along with other scenes that did not make it into the first anime adaptation such as the small sweet moments between Hori and Miyamura. Omoinotake will perform the opening theme song “Shiawase,” translating to “Happiness.” Ami Sakaguchi will perform the ending theme song “URL.”

The first season of Horimiya, adapted by CloverWorks, premiered in January 2021 with 13 episodes. The manga, adapted by Daisuke Hagiwara from Hero’s original web manga series Hori-san to Miyamura-kun, concluded in March 2021. Horimiya recently announced a special compiled Volume 17 will release, which includes three new chapters.

Asami Seto will return to voice Kyoko Hori, the beautiful and popular high schooler who takes care of her little brother at home. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will reprise his role as Izumi Miyamura, the gloomy bespectacled boy who, outside of school, bears a much different appearance. Seiichirō Yamashita voices Tooru Ishikawa and Yurie Kozakai voices Yuki Yoshikawa. The Missing Pieces will welcome new cast member Daisuke Nakimawa as Kakeru’s father Takeru Sengoku.

Horimiya is available on Crunchyroll. Horimiya: The Missing Pieces will stream on Crunchyroll on July 1.
