Godzilla -1.0, also known as Godzilla Minus One, released its trailer ahead of the movie’s Nov. 3 premiere date.

Takashi Yamazaki, best known for his work on 2019’s Dragon Quest Your Story and 2020’s Stand by Me Doraemon 2, helms the film set in post-war Japan. The trailer depicts the carnage as the camera pans around the rubble before a giant foot, presumably belonging to the titular Kaiju, appears after smashing through a building. Forbes quoted Koji Ueda, President of Toho International, saying the film “will once again show us a Godzilla that is a terrifying and overwhelming force.”

Godzilla -1.0 will premiere on Nov. 3 in Japan before going on to release in North America at the beginning of December 2023.
