Science Saru confirms a second season for the hit anime “Dandadan,” while also revealing the 2025 premiere date.

They thanked viewers for watching Season 1 of the hit anime and built excitement for Season 2, stating, “Brace yourself for an even wilder ride in Season 2!”
The Dandadan anime adaptation premiered in October 2024, following the same premise as the manga. The story centers on Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura, two high schoolers with supernatural powers who team up to battle yokai and aliens with the help of their friends. Momo believes in ghosts but not aliens, while Ken believes the opposite. To settle the debate, they visit each other’s chosen locations. Events take a wild turn when aliens abduct Momo and unblock her chakras, awakening her latent psychic abilities, while Ken becomes possessed by a ghost.
Fans can watch Dandadan on Crunchyroll, and the manga is available on the Shonen Jump app.
