Crossed Hearts has licensed another manga, but this will be the publisher’s first action dark fantasy seinen.
The up-and-coming publisher revealed their latest licensing announcement, The Executioner of Grenimal. Written and illustrated by Akisuke, the manga first was released on Comic Border in May 2023. The series marks the third manga series that Crossed Hearts has licensed after You’re Way Too Cheeky, Chigaya-kun! and The Matchmaker’s Fiancé.

Aside from manga licenses, Crossed Hearts has also licensed various Korean manhwa and novels including Baroness Goes on Strike, The Archduke’s Adopted Saint, and Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion.
Crossed Hearts offers the following as the synopsis for Vol. 1:
Humanity trembles before the Grenimals–grotesque creatures born from corrupted desire. Among them roam the Lycanthropes, savage beasts driven by their lust for chaos and pleasure, and the Vampires, who see humans as nothing more than cattle to be bled dry.
As the world teeters on the brink of madness, those who hunt what should not exist–the Executioners–rise to stand against the encroaching darkness. Among their ranks are Mutuki, a stoic, battle-hardened warrior, and his sharp-witted partner Yuri, as they plunge into one supernatural mystery after another–each case more twisted than the last, each unveiling horrors festering in the shadows of their crumbling world.
Information about the release window will be announced at a later date.
