Crossed Hearts, the newest manhwa publishing kid on the block, announced its newest imprint called GLAM BEAT!
The publisher revealed the news on December 31 on their social media account, describing GLAM BEAT! as an imprint “devoted to women-driven stories that are intimate, bold, and unapologetically romantic.” The imprint will focus on girls’ love stories. Crossed Hearts also noted that they will be reviewing readers’ recommendations and that licensing is already in progress. Most notably, it appears as though this imprint will also try to license baihe (Chinese for girls’ love) stories.

Crossed Hearts debuted in August and has licensed a number of manhwa including Baroness Goes on Strike, The Archduke’s Adopted Saint, and From a Knight to a Lady, and Darling, Why Can’t We Divorce?. They licensed the manga series You’re Way Too Cheeky, Chigaya-Kun! and also announced licenses for Korean novels such as The Abandoned Villainess Became a Zombie and Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion.
GLAM BEAT’s first license has not yet been announced. The imprint plans to reveal 12 titles this year.
