Crossed Hearts Announces Boys’ Love Imprint BLUSH CLUB

Crossed Hearts has announced another imprint; it will focus on boys’ love titles.

The publisher previously announced their first imprint called GLAM BEAT which would focus on girls’ love stories that include Japanese, Chinese, and Korean titles. They have now, on Valentine’s Day, announced an imprint dedicated to boys’ love stories called BLUSH CLUB that will also include Japanese, Chinese, and Korean titles. They describe BLUSH CLUB as an imprint that explores “intimacy, longing, and connections that feel personal, heartfelt, and quietly powerful.” Notably, the imprint will license danmei as well.

Crossed Hearts debuted in August and has licensed a number of manhwa including Baroness Goes on Strike, The Archduke’s Adopted Saint, and From a Knight to a Lady, and Darling, Why Can’t We Divorce?. They licensed the manga series You’re Way Too Cheeky, Chigaya-Kun! and also announced licenses for Korean novels such as The Abandoned Villainess Became a Zombie and Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion.

They recently announced their first title for their GLAM BEAT imprint, a manga called Borrowing Your Textbook (175160) which begins as a digital release.

BLUSH CLUB’s first license has not yet been announced. The imprint plans to reveal 12 titles this year.
