Korea has put out another zombie infestation movie–and this time it’s set in a conference.

First, we had Train to Busan where the characters were stuck on a train while Seoul was getting ravaged by zombies. Then we had Peninsula, the sequel where the military have seized control of the peninsula. Continuing with the zombie apocalypse theme, director Yeon Sang-ho has dropped the teaser for his next film Colony.

The film stars Jun Ji Hyun (The Legend of the Blue Sea) as Kwon Se-jeong, Koo Kyo-hwan (Peninsula) as Seo Young-cheol, Ji Chang-wook (Empress Ki) as Choi Hyun-seok, Kim Shin-rok (Hellhound) as Choi Hyun-hee, Shin Hyun-been (Hospital Playlist) as Gong Seol-hee, and Go Soo (Money Game) as Han Gyu-seong. Colony will be Jun’s first film appearance in 11 years.

Set in a conference building, Colony follows biotechnology professor Kwon Se-jeong who finds herself in the heart of a viral infection that turns people into zombies. The authorities quickly shut the building down, trapping survivors with the zombies. To make matters more complicated, the virus is quickly mutating, for instance, turning zombies that used to only crawl on all fours to now walking on two legs.

Produced by Wowpoint and Smilegate in association with Midnight Studio, Showbox will handle the international distribution. Colony will be released in theatres sometime this year. No news has been revealed about a digital or streaming release.
