Your eyes were not deceiving you. It’s true; Cherry Blossoms After Winter is coming back for another season.
Tappytoon announced Season 5 of the BL manhwa in their upcoming releases for January and February. As per an email correspondence, Redbeanime has confirmed that it will contain new material and will not be a revised all-ages version.
“While Cherry Blossoms After Winter has been completed for quite a while, the creator is bringing back the plot with new twists and turns in Season 5,” Tappytoon wrote. “It will be more than a simple revised version of the existing story, so please look forward to that on February 4th.”
A new key image was released in anticipation of Season 5 with an older-looking Haebom and Taesung leaning against each other. The mood seems much darker than the previous seasons with the shadows cast upon their faces. The two are also wearing black although Taesung’s jacket has a white collar.

Written and illustrated by Bamwoo, Cherry Blossoms After Winter follows Seo Haebom and Jo Taesung’s relationship from being childhood friends, to strangers living under the same roof, to lovers. The series follows the two from high school to college to entering the workforce.
