Netflix x BTS

BTS is officially making their long-awaited return—and they’re doing it on a truly global stage. Netflix has announced a two-part collaboration with the group that includes a live comeback performance and a documentary film, both premiering worldwide later this March.

First up is BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, which will stream live on March 21 at 8 p.m. KST (4 a.m. PST), exclusively on Netflix. The performance will take place at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, a historic and symbolic location that adds extra weight to the group’s return. Fans around the world will be able to watch BTS perform live as they usher in a new era tied to their upcoming comeback album, ARIRANG.

Following the live event, Netflix will release BTS: THE RETURN, a documentary film premiering on March 27. The documentary will take fans behind the scenes of BTS’s comeback, spotlighting the creative process, preparation, and emotional journey behind the making of ARIRANG. From studio sessions to candid moments, the film promises an intimate look at how the group came together to craft their latest album.

The dual release marks a major moment not only for BTS, but also for Netflix’s expanding slate of global music content. By pairing a live performance with a full-length documentary, the project gives fans both the excitement of a real-time comeback and a deeper understanding of the artistry behind it.

With ARIRANG at the heart of both the live show and documentary, BTS’s Netflix collaboration signals a powerful return—one that celebrates their past, present, and future, all while bringing ARMYs together across the world.
