Written and illustrated by Kouji Miura, Blue Box began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Jump in April 2021. The manga initially began as a one-shot in 2020 and is available to read on the platform. The story revolves around the relationship between Taiki Inomata and Chinatsu Kano. Taiki is in love with his upper classmate Chinatsu and trains everyday with her, despite being on two completely different teams — one badminton and the other basketball. Suddenly, Taiki finds himself seeing more and more of Chinatsu when she moves in with his family after her parents have to work abroad. The manga focuses on the two’s budding relationship as they work towards playing in nationals for their respective sports.
Blue Box is available to read on Viz Media and Manga Plus. The anime premieres in October.
