Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Hypes Fans Up with Cour 3 Announcement

Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War has released a special PV along with an announcement that its third cour would air in 2024.

A post to the anime’s official X (formerly known as Twitter) account shared that the third cour would air on TokyoTV in 2024. The 1-minute, 5-second video showcases many exciting scenes, including the return of Grimmjow, which has fans hyped up.

Fans couldn’t hold back their delight at the news, with Arovian declaring, “THE KING HAS RETURNED 😭💙⚔️🔥💯” and Zaki asking, “I wonder how the fight between Senjumaru and Uryu will go…”

Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War first began airing in 2022 and is based on the sequel manga written and illustrated by Tite Kubo. The sequel brings the original series to a close as its final arc. Thousand-Year Blood War will have a total of four cours, with breaks in between, to adapt the entirety of the arc. In the United States, Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War airs on Hulu, while internationally, it streams on Disney+.
