BL Webcomic The Dangerous Convenience Store Receives Anime and Audio Drama

Euijoon and Mister’s love story will come to life in an aeni and audio drama adaptation of The Dangerous Convenience Store.

As reported by SList, popular BL webcomic series The Dangerous Convenience Store will release an aeni, the Korean word for animation, as well as an audio drama. Laftel, the animation studio responsible for other BL series adaptation such as Semantic Error and 4 Week Lovers, will helm the animation for The Dangerous Convenience Store. The aeni will air sometime in 2024. Production for the audio adaptation, via Orange D, will begin in the same year.

Written and illustrated by gusao, The Dangerous Convenience Store follows college student Yeo Euijoon who works part-time at a convenience store. The pay is good and only because this convenience store is often frequented by gangsters. One night, Euijoon pours his heart out about his failed relationship to one such dangerous man named Geonu. Unexpectedly, Geonu offers to sleep with him to help Euijoon get over his broken heart.

The all-ages version of The Dangerous Convenience Store is available to read on Manta Comics while the mature-rated version is available on Lezhin Comics.
