BL Novel Lovely Allergen Previews Sweetly Adorable Manhua Adaptation
Danmei fans, get ready to read the sweetest and most heartbreaking story when the Lovely Allergen manhua drops this summer.
Lovely Allergen has announced an utterly lovely manhua adaptation.
Kuaikanmanhua, the platform where readers can partake in their favourite manhua, has revealed a preview chapter introducing all the characters from Ke Ai Guo Min Yuan, which roughly translates to Lovely Allergen. The manhua will begin posting its first chapters sometime in the summer and has asked fans to look forward to YueShi couple.
Opening up the preview is the effervescently bright and sweet Yue Zhishi, nicknamed Lele, and is described as a filial, a clingy/sticky puppy (especially when it comes to his “gege”), straightforward and a beautiful dummy. The preview shares a few of Yue Zhishi’s memorable quotes such as “I need you, can you need me as well?” and “I still really like you.”
Song Yu, Yue Zhishi’s beloved “gege” is described as coldly handsome, someone who feels deeply, someone who has great restraint and the “King of Vinegar.” Song Yu’s nickname “Xiao Yu” has been crossed out in favour of “Fire Hitachi.” As Song Yu stares softly, his lines float across the page: “I like beautiful dummies,” “Your sense of direction is too terrible,” “Don’t look for me; just wait for me in the original spot” and “I only used the word ‘like’ to accommodate you.”
The other characters include Song Yu’s father who took Yue Zhishi in and is good friends with Yue Zhishi’s father, Song Yu’s mother whom Yue Zhishi refers to as “Aunt Song” and their beloved family pets Tangerine and Cotton Candy.
Zhichu’s novel Lovely Allergen revolves around the heartwarming and heartbreaking relationship between Yue Zhishi and Song Yu. The two aren’t brothers but Song Yu and Yue Zhishi have been living together since Yue Zhishi was brought home by Song Yu’s father one stormy night. On the outside, Song Yu looks cold and unapproachable and has even set out three rules for Yue Zhishi to make sure he keeps him at a distance but that all disappears in one fell swoop one day at school.
