BL Anime Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?! Releases Teaser PV

Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?! will premiere in January 2024.

The BL anime Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?! has released a teaser PV, announcing the premiere window. Satelight will animate and produce the anime. Yoshiko Okuda will direct the anime with Takahiro Kishida as the character designer. Tomoko Konparu will come onto the project as the series scriptwriter.

The story follows 30-year-old virgin Kiyoshi Adachi who suddenly develops the ability to read people’s minds when he touches them. When he touches his coworker Yuichi Kurosawa, he is stunned to see that Kurosawa has been in love with him and harbours some rather explicit fantasies of him. Chiaki Kobayashi voices Adachi while Ryōta Suzuki portrays Kurosawa.

In addition to the anime adaptation, Cherry Magic! has also released a live-action television series in October 2020 with Eiji Akaso as Adachi and Keita Machida as Kurosawa. A direct sequel film released in April 2022 with the cast returning to reprise their roles. A Thai adaptation will also be released.

Square Enix Manga & Books has licensed the manga. Cherry Magic! premieres in January 2024.
